Ellesor G. Holder, Executive Director

Holder joins the SC Festival of Flowers this year. She has worked with the Festival as the Ladies Luncheon Event Chair and served as a committee member. She brings a marketing and management background to the position. She is a communications and marketing professional with broad experience in all aspects of ad campaign development, fundraising, communications, writing, event planning and digital promotions. She is an energetic and out-going individual with a proven track record for creativity, innovative thinking and exceptional work. She has successfully worked in industries such as computer software, healthcare, wellness, resort living, luxury yachting and web development. In addition to her marketing skills, she is an accomplished public speaker. Ellesor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of South Carolina. She also attended the International College of London, England.“I feel very fortunate and grateful to have the opportunity to work with the many volunteers, supporters and Chamber Staff that make the Festival of Flowers possible. I knew that when I assumed the position as the new Director for the Festival of Flowers that Kay Self and Frank Cuda would be a tough act to follow. I remain amazed and impressed with the fine job that they have done in the past and the accomplishments that they have achieved for the Festival over the past 18 years. I am excited that we are able to offer so many events this year and I hope Festival visitors and Greenwood residents will take time to enjoy our events scheduled for the month of June.
