“The Magic of Music, The Passion of Painting”

Piano Lecture-Recital in which favorite music of Chopin will be performed and compared to the beauty of the painted image by Dr. Marianne Lenti. Dr. Lenti is a Professor Emeritus of Music at Lander University and an Artist-in-Residence at the Arts Council of Greenwood County. She has performed and lectured world-wide, both as an individual and in concert with her husband, Dr. Tony Lenti as The Lenti Piano Duo. Dr. Lenti specializes in music as it relates to our sense of community, music of Frederic Chopin, and music in the Colonial Period of the United States. She is a fine arts landscape pastelist and has had her work presented in area museums and juried shows. She was named a Performance Fellow of the South Carolina Arts Commission and has been featured in the Southern Arts Federation magazine of the National Endowment for the Arts.
