Native Americans lived here 20,000 years or more ago, and were an important part of the history of our area. Come see how they lived and what they wore, learn from interactive stations how they made their tools and wove their baskets, experience how they traveled, and the games they played!

While you are here stroll down our replica of Greenwood’s Main Street and its stores from 1910. Then head upstairs to visit our new wildlife exhibit.

On the lower level, you’ll find a number of interpretations of many aspects of life in Greenwood in the past including a horse-drawn hearse from 1885 and 1930’s Carolina kitchen.

Join us here at The Museum where history comes to life and learning is fun!
